RIO PAVILION (2013)

 

RIO PAVILION is a proposal for a pavilion for FIFA World Cup 2014 in Rio de Janeiro, prepared in cooperation with Chris Doray Studio.

A walk around the pavilion reveals hidden messages. Walking clockwise one dicovers the iconic shot by Pele in a series of stills, while walking counter-clockwise one can read huge letters forming the name of the event, "FIFA WORLD CUP".  The hidden messages are formed from clouds of small semi-randomly arranged plates, which from specific angles are perceived as pixels of the desired images.
