SHADOW FENCE,  Swiss Science Center Technorama, Winterthur, Switzerland (2021)

 

Two rotating steel plates casting shadows on the ground. The plates are perforated and have tiny steel circles welded to their surfaces.

The first plate can cast four various shadows, depending on its position, and has 2200 circles attached to it. The second can cast six shadows and contains 2900 circles.
